OUR PANEL

In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of Studio West’s busy commercial studios, Amelia is a talented Recording, Mixing, and Mastering Engineer, known for helping numerous local bands bring their creative visions to life.

A graduate of The Recording Arts Center Diploma Program and originally from San Diego, she has built a strong reputation both behind the console and on stage.

Amelia is a respected producer, engineer, touring musician, and songwriter. She has worked alongside acclaimed producer Jeff Berkley on a variety of projects, including sessions with Jason Mraz, becoming an in-demand producer in her own right.

As a performer, Amelia plays in top local bands Loitering and Sparkler, bringing her technical expertise and musicality to every project she touches.

Her blend of industry experience and creative insight makes her a vital part of San Diego’s music and recording scene.

Sandi King is a multifaceted recording and performing artist, known for her dynamic presence both in the studio and on stage. With a voice that adapts effortlessly across genres, she regularly lends her talent to studio sessions and live backing vocals, supporting a wide range of artists and projects throughout the San Diego music scene.

Beyond her work as a vocalist, Sandi brings a strong creative and organizational skill set to the independent music world. She has collaborated with artists on music videos, created promotional artwork, and played a key role in coordinating events and performances across Southern California.

Her experience includes planning and booking indie tours, both for herself and for other independent artists, demonstrating her commitment to building sustainable careers in music from the ground up.

Whether behind the mic, behind the scenes, or behind the wheel on tour, Sandi brings passion, versatility, and a deep understanding of the music landscape to everything she does.

Shelby is a Live Sound Engineer, and the first female Graduate of The Recording Arts Center Associate Degree Program.

Born and raised in San Diego, Shelby grew up in a musical family, with her dad playing drums with many of the rock legends from the 1980s.

She is the Lead Audio Technician at the Observatory in North Park, and an Audio Technician at the Casbah in San Diego, as well as for Audio Design – a local production company handling complex large-scale events.
